And as men still conclude that men are stronger than women based on the macro-narrative, they still believe in choosing a mate based on their preferences and pursuing women based on their needs.
But women have concluded based on the micro-narrative that there is no longer a difference between the social contributions of men and women, so they no longer cater to men’s preferences. And their level of needs is increasingly rising. It turns out that they can satisfy those ordinary needs themselves. They don't need men to satisfy them anymore.
In other words, a lot of women have changed. They've also started choosing their mates based on their own habits instead of needs. But many men still pursue women through satisfying their needs.
That's why the sky-high bride price appeared, coupled with the requirement to buy a house and a car. And then more and more men found themselves unable to satisfy women's needs.
However, this is also not a problem that can be solved merely by men changing their concepts for only a small part of women have changed their concepts. Most women still choose their mates based on their needs. This is a period of pain.
The social relationship where men have advantages over women is changing. However, the macro level and the micro level are at odds.
